It was actually just a few days ago where I was watching the news and gracing the headline was ' Marge Simpson is to pose in Playboy!'. I couldn't help but be excited to this! I was glad to see PlayBoy publications venturing into a different territory as a means of strategic advertising. Instead of using real-life models and celebrities, Playboy is now diving into the illustrative world.
Now the whole controversy with Marge Simpson is that some people feel it's inappropriate to be using and exposing a "cartoon" explicitly. But COME ON!!! Are they serious?? When were the Simpsons ever rated G or even PG????? If anything as a kid that grew up watching Simpsons, it was a cartoon show that we'd rather not watch in front of our parents because we knew exactly there'd be sexual connotations. Now Marge Simpson, we've all seen her in her night gowns, lingeries and even with her tits hanging out over and over again. We've even been taunted with her having foreplay in bed with Homer and other Characters on the show. She's far from being an innocent cartoon character. Having Marge pose for Playboy doesn't seem like something out of the ordinary for this Simpson character. Come November 1st which will just be in a few weeks, Marge Simpson will finally be exposed...in the front page and center-fold spread of
