LUST- one of the seven deadly sins and most dangerous emotions to feel! I always thought I knew what lust was growing up and actually even thought I knew how it felt-I was wrong! For years I always thought emotions of infatuation was the same thing or very similar to it. Lust was taught to me as an emotion without real love involved. So I always assumed crushes to be that of actually lust. Now when I look at everyone around me, I can definitely say these people have experienced infatuation, but not lust..not yet at least. Now this emotion...lust, to me is not a common emotion that can be easily experienced, instead it's something that happens from time to time and when it does-it hits you hard!
How do I describe this feeling? A very surreal high that makes you get lost in ecstasy. You'll give this person that you lust for- anything-you want to give him/her everything! It's like your being hypnotized and under a spell.
The reason I say it's dangerous is because I see many people buying everything -from cars, houses, jewellery etc...for the person they lust for-and sex doesn't even need to be involved! I use to always think that people who gets everything given to them must be giving sex in return (which in some cases are true) but I'm talking about the ones that don't! Then it hits me-LUST! I was thinking about her so hard that I was willing to give her anything! It took me a few days to realize HOLY SHIT if I was rich I would've! scary....Lust-when you feel it, it's a dangerous emotion that puts you in a very dangerous place-even though it feels really really good...temporarily.
