"The Natashas" by Victor Malarek-6/10

"The Natashas" was actually the first book written by Malarek followed by "The Johns" as a sequel. Having just read "The Johns" and was incredibly in awe with it-I had to get the first book! Front and back of "The Johns" were raves about "The Natashas" with the Globe and Mail and the National Post giving it high reviews. The first two chapters gripped me with the story of the tragic kidnapped girls who are bought and sold into the sex trade. But then Malarek quickly looses me as he begins to reiterate facts I had just read 5 minutes ago. He jumps into the market and routes of sex trafficking and from there it becomes a journey, jumping from one country to the next labeling which nation are most corrupted by this criminality.

Dear Natasha, you left as soon as you came and I didn't even get to know you. Wish you stayed longer so I can hear more of your story....retailing for $19.00, I give Malarek a 6/10 on this one!
